Early Decision Deadlines

Some schools have special deadlines for applicants who are certain about their first-choice school. For instance, Columbia Business School’s “Round 1” deadline is for applicants who want to start in August and are committed to Columbia as their top choice. These candidates need to pay a nonrefundable $6,000 deposit. Similarly, UNC Kenan-Flagler’s “Round 1” is known as “Early Action,” where applicants must commit to enrolling and pay a $3,000 deposit upon acceptance.
